For a bridal dress fitting, you need to make an appointment in advance to ensure an English speaking stylist is available to you. We charge a fee of CZK 200 for fitting during working hours. VIP fitting in an empty salon on Saturday and after working hours is charged 400 CZK. After making a booking, the fee will be deducted. The usual fitting takes 60 minutes. A personal bridal stylist will be assisting you in your fittings and you will be able to fit as many dresses as possible, within the timeframe.

Do I need to make an appointment?
Can I come on a Saturday or after hours?
Of course but keep in mind that after regular hours, we are opened by appointment only. VIP fitting in an empty salon on Saturday and after working hours is charged 400 CZK. A personal bridal stylist will be assisting you in your fittings and you will be able to fit as many dresses as possible, within the timeframe. Also, you will be spoiled with a glass of bubbly. After making a booking, the fee will be deducted.
It is not possible to use after hours appointments for a final fitting as our seamstresses are not available in the shop at these times.
How many people can I bring with?
You can come alone or bring up to 5 people with you. However, we recommend to bring maximum of 3 people who know and respect your style and taste. Also, to ensure a relaxed atmosphere with the bride in the centre of all attention, we advise to leave small children at home.
What do I bring with?
It is important to wear the right lingerie, ideal is nude color or white. If you have laser-cut panties, its perfect. You dont need shoes at this point, we have platforms. If you want to try on some veils as well, you will need a hair elastic.
It is very helpful to check our website and bring along a list of dresses that caught you eye. That gives us more specific idea of what you have in mind and we can offer more suitable dresses according to your taste.
When should I start looking for my dress?
That is very individual. Most brides choose their dress 9 - 3 moths prior to the wedding. However, we are able to accommodate you even a week before your wedding day.
If you are not 100% certain, you can change your booking for another dress at any point. The only condition is that the replacement dress has to be available for your date (there cannot be an existing booking by another bride).
What is your dress size range?
In our salon in Uherské Hradiště, we offer bridal dresses in sizes 30 - 60, in Brno 30 - 48. The perfect fit is not an option, it’s a must. That is why our team of expert ateliers work tirelessly with each bride, to ensure that every dress is tailored to perfection, flawlessly framing your figure and form. We can accommodate all body types - petite, large, tall, pregnant and even asymetric and scoliotic.
What is the rental price for a bridal dress?
Rental in Uherské Hradiště is from 5.000 to 22.000 CZK, in Brno it is 15.000 to 45.000 CZK. Dress prices vary depending on the brand (purchase price), collection and current condition. Being a designer salon, we comply with recommended prices set by our brands.
Pronovias dresses are 12.000 - 22.000 CZK. White One by San Patrick 10.000 - 15.000 CZK. Bridal separates Mix & Match 4.990 - 9.900 CZK. Bridal dress prices from our Special Offer start from pleasant 4.900 CZK.
Rental includes custom size and length adjustments, train bustle, cleaning and ironing before and after use.
Can I also fit dresses available at your other branch?
After previous agreement, you can pick up your dress and return it at any branch. However, this does not apply to dress fitting - you still need to fit and book your dress at its home branch.
Can I fit your dresses in Prague?
After previous agreement, we can hand over your bridal dress in Prague Holešovice to spare you a trip. However, this does not apply to dress fitting. You still need to fit and book your dress at one or our salons.
What if my dress wears down before the wedding?
Bridal dress fabrics and beadings are quite delicate. That is why we have full-time in-house team of specialists who restore our dresses to their fabulous finish. When the dress is too damaged, we replace it with a new one. On average, we rent each dress about three times before discarding it.
How do I make a booking?
First, you need to have a wedding date. Every booking is bound to a date. When you choose your wedding dress, we take your details and your measurements and you put down a transferable deposit of 50% of the rental. The deposit tranfer applies to a change of the dress and also a change of the wedding date (the maximum of 3 years).
The booking is not binding until the 50% deposit is payed. The remaining 50% is due upon receipt of the dress.
Can I change my booking?
The short anwer is yes. The deposit tranfer applies to a change of the dress and also a change of the wedding date (the maximum of 3 years). The only condition is that the replacement dress has to be available for your date and vice versa (there cannot be an existing booking by another bride).
What if I have to cancel?
If that happens, don't worry. You will get a voucher for a full amount of your deposit and you can use it for any of our services or merchandise within the period of 3 years. This way, you don't lose any money.
If you insist on a refund, the cancellation fee is 25% of the rental. When cancelling less than 2 weeks before the wedding, the entire deposit is forfeited.
Is it possible to rent the dress for longer?
The dress is rented from Thursday/Friday to Monday. Let us know in advance if you need a different of longer time period. In case of booking the dress for two weekends or longer, the price is calculated individually according to the season, model and date. The surcharge varies from 0% to 70%.
What if I already booked a dress elsewhere?
If you already have a wedding dress booking in a different salon but you found "the one" at SVATKA, do not despair. Bring a receipt and we will compensate you for the non-refundable deposit with a 1.000 CZK discount on your booking with us.
Can I also rent a veil and shoes?
We offer all accessories for bride and groom. It is possible to rent Pronovias luxury veils that are quite costly to buy. But not everything is available to rent. Shoes for example, are availeble only for sale.

Can I book a dress that is not in stock?
If it is any Pronovias, White One or Biance Evento dress that is still in production, then it is possible to custom-order it for rent or for sale. However, you need to make such order at least 5 months in advance since not all sizes and versions are available at all times. You can inquire the rental and sale price via email or phone. Being a designer salon, we comply with recommended prices set by our brands.
Do you make alterations?

We alter both size and legth. Since you are only renting the dress, all adjustments to the dress are made to be reversible. Shortening of the length is in the form of a pleat. We can accommodate all body types - petite, large, tall, pregnant and even asymetric and scoliotic.
Is there an alterations fitting?
Yes. The dress needs to be fitted and altered shortly before to wedding to ensure the perfect fit. You want to book your alterations fitting 2 weeks before the wedding. You need to bring along your bridal shoes and lingerie for the alterations fitting. It is very important that you have the same height of all the shoes you plan to wear on your wedding day, otherwise you will damage the bottom hem.
Once the alterations are done, you can come pick up your dress. You need to try it on one last time to make sure everything fits (again, you want to bring your shoes to check the length).

The Wedding Day
What if something goes wrong?
If something goes wrong, do not panic. Keep calm and call us on this number: +420 777 112 331 and we will come up with a solution. For example, if a zipper gets broken, we will rush to your aid. If the bustle doesn't hold, all you need to do is to slightly press the metal hook so that the loop won't fall off of it.
What to do when with stains?
It’s an exciting day and accidents may happen. If that is the case, do not try to clean the stain yourself. You may actually do more damage. Intead, try to remember what made the stain. When we know what it is, we know how to clean it. The rental price includes normal dust and makeup contamination. For dresses brown or black due to a change of shoes or removing the petticoat, you are charged CZK 1,000 for excessive soiling.
Beware of these things: smoke bombs, spray tan, blue denim jackets, bubble blowers, grease, molten asphalt, tree sap.
What if I tear the dress?
If you tear the dress, secure the hole with a safety pin. When returning the dress, please report any tears and holes since they can get much worse during the cleaning process and even become irreparable. In the event of damage, we charge only the cost of repair, not the entire cost of the dress. Usually the amount is 200 - 2,000 CZK.
Beware of these things: open fire, burning cigarettes, sparks from smoke bombs, fireworks and sparklers, motorcycle exhaust pipes.
Is the dress insured?
We would love that. Unfortunately, there is no such insurance policy. That is why we would like to ask you to handle your rented dress with consideration and respect. The rental price does not include damage the dress. In the event of damage, we charge only the cost of repair, not the entire cost of the dress. Usually the amount is 200 - 2,000 CZK. If the damage is irreparable, you can file a claim for your liability insurance.
